My son wanted to create in the kitchen, so I let him have at it.

He added a little of this and a little of that to the food processor, let it rip, then added some more.

The result was a delicious and nutritious dessert ball that we all loved!

Way to go, Andrew!!!

P.S. Here is our best guess on the measurements 🙂

Add to food processor:

  • 6 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 3 organic figs
  • 1/2 c peanuts
  • 1/2 c almonds
  • 1/2 c walnuts
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3 T applesauce
  • 4 T peanut butter
  • 1/2 c cocoa powder
  • 2 T vanilla
  • 3 T cinnamon
  • 3 T black strap molasses
  • 2 T honey
  • 1 T tahini

Add to a mixing bowl:

  • 2 c shredded coconut
  • 4 c old fashioned oats
  • 2 c quinoa flakes
  • 3 T flax ground seed
  • 1/2 c raisins

Add all of the “food processor” ingredients to food processor and process until mixed. Spoon food processor mixture to mixing bowl with “mixing bowl” ingredients. Use hands to mix well. Form into balls. You may add more oats if consistency is too sticky. Freezes well. Enjoy!
